In celebration of the philosopher’s 100th birthday and the landmark publication of the reader History, Fables, Metaphors, Fables (Cornell 2020), two leading scholars of Blumenberg’s monumental corpus will discuss the urgency of his thought for literary theory, criticism, and history.
A selection of relevant readings will be pre-circulated in German and English.
