The Princeton University Art Museum will officially open its doors on October 31, 2025. Visitors are invited to explore the museum’s galleries during a 24-House Open House event, which will also feature a range of events including sky gazing, art making, live performances, poetry readings, storytelling, wellness activities, and more. Special preview days for University students, faculty, and staff are also planned for opening week.
“The new museum was designed to be a kind of town square for the arts and humanities, a place of coming together, and so we are excited to begin the process of welcoming our communities to discover the experiences we have been shaping for so many years,” said James Steward, Nancy A. Nasher-David J. Haemisegger, Class of 1976, Director of the Princeton University Art Museum, in a story on the University homepage.
