Vincenzo De Risi, professor at the French National Centre for Scientific Research, is a historian of philosophy and science, especially working on the history of geometry from antiquity to the early modern age, the history of the epistemology of mathematics, and the history of the notion of space. He has published on Leibniz, and on the discovery of non-Euclidean geometry. He has strong interests in Kant, phenomenology, and philosophy of space-time. He currently has a project on the tradition of Euclid’s Elements in the modern world.
