Milena Šereikaitė

Milena Šereikaitė (www.sereikaite.com) is an associate research scholar and lecturer in linguistics at Princeton University. Her primary focus of research concerns syntactic theory, syntax morphology, and syntax/semantics interfaces. Milena has extensively worked on issues such as the representation of implicit arguments, passives and impersonals, the structural vs. inherent case, nominalizations, and the interaction between VoiceP and case. Her work draws on empirical findings based on her ongoing research on Lithuanian (an understudied Baltic language). She received her Ph.D. in Linguistics at the University of Pennsylvania under the direction of Prof. Julie Anne Legate. In her dissertation, Milena investigated the relationship between Voice, case and subjecthood through the lease of Lithuanian. Prior to coming to Princeton, she was a postdoctoral associate at Yale University.
