2020-2021 is the second year of the project.
This three-year project develops an interdisciplinary working group devoted to the study of the Middle Ages in its live, plastic, and time-bound dimensions. It will foster collaboration between scholars and artists (musicians, directors, composers, visual artists, curators) and promote the visibility of Medieval Studies through programming in the performing arts. An international graduate symposium will convene students in Medieval Studies courses and engage them with pre-modern material through contemporary means. Supported by a Humanities Council David A.
