When Pages Breathe: The Great Gatsby by Literature To Life

A series of events that celebrates bringing good books to life through adaptation for the stage and screen. This year’s series focuses on the 100th Anniversary of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s American classic, The Great Gatsby. Fitzgerald was a member of Princeton’s Class of 1917. Includes a panel with Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Martyna Majok (book for the new musical Gatsby, An American Myth), Executive Director of American Repertory Theater Kelvin Dinkins, Jr., and American musical scholar Stacy Wolf; performance and masterclass by Tony Award-winning writer and actress Sharon Washington; director/producer Chuck Shultz; a film screening; and a Literature to Life performance of The Great Gatsby.

Admission: Some events open to public, some to University community, all free.
