Alex Turgeon is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice investigates the structural relationships between poetry and architecture, and how together these fields can inform the queer subject as built environment. His artistic practice finds interdisciplinary forms through concrete poetry, sculpture, video, performance, amongst many other expanded media. His work embodies an radical ethos rooted in the methodologies of printed matter and independent publishing, framing both as distributive tools and political methods for making and occupying space.
