VISCERA::POETICS is the next installation of the::sense::archive Humanities Council Working Group. The second event of Ziba Rajabi’s sense::archivist residency will be held on April 11 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. in Morrison Hall 224, with snacks available for participants at 1:45pm.
Tehran-born, Minneapolis-based artist Ziba Rajabi and Classicist Ava Shirazi, founding director of the::sense::archive, will be in conversation about Ziba’s practice of accessing the visceral via poetry, shapes, textures, and color. Ziba is a painter focusing primarily on site-specific installations, textiles, and reimaginations of digital mediation in contemporary life. Please RSVP to the.sense.archive.team@gmail.com.
the::sense::archive was founded by Monica Huerta, assistant professor of English and American Studies at Princeton and Ava Shirazi, assistant professor of Classics and visual culture, arts, and media (VCAM) faculty fellow at Haverford College.
