This lecture will discuss novel methods to quantify the dynamic gains from trade liberalization. Using this methodology it will explore the implications of the potential formation of a Free Trade Agreement between Latin American countries that lowers tariffs uniformly by 35% and how such a policy could impact different regions of Latin America immediately and in the future.
