Please join us for our next seminar of the virtual series entitled “Race, Race-thinking and Identity in the Middle Ages and Medieval Studies”
A SEMINAR SERIES
We aim to move beyond simplistic either-or binaries – race/not race, race/religion, race/ethnicity, US/Europe – to develop nuanced paradigms for racialization and its interaction, overlap, and interdependence with other forms of social categorization, and to consider how Critical Race Theory might inspire and inform historical study.
