Seuls en Scène French Theater Festival

This 7th edition of the French Theater Festival will feature renowned and emerging French writers, actors and directors in six productions of contemporary works recently presented on stages in France.

“Doreen” by David Geselson is based on the confession written in 2006 by philosopher and journalist André Gorz to his wife Doreen Keir, when she was diagnosed with a terminal disease. His confession tells their love story and relives their shared life of 58 years.

Performed in French. Free and open to the public but reserved tickets are recommended.

Second performance: September 29, 8:00 PM—10:00 PM, Matthews Acting Studio

Co-sponsored by the Lewis Center for the Arts, Department of French and Italian, L’Avant Scène, Humanities Council
