Reporting on the US-Mexico Border Crisis During the Pandemic

Alice Driver will share her experience reporting on the border crisis in Reynosa, Mexico during the pandemic. She traveled to Reynosa in August 2020 to interview asylum seekers about how they were navigating coronavirus and climate change. She will also discuss her border reporting collaborations with Chinese neorealist painter Liu Xiaodong and National Geographic photographer John Stanmeyer.
