The French and Francophone Society, along with its generous partners at Princeton University and beyond, are thrilled to invite you all to the first-ever Princeton French Film Festival, happening from April 16th to 28th at various venues across our campus.

A unique opportunity to discover the richness and diversity of Francophone cultures through the magic of cinema, it will showcase five recent films (in their original language(s) with English subtitles) by award-winning and emerging filmmakers from Chad, France, and Haiti. Whether you’re a seasoned cinephile or a curious francophile — or the reverse, or both, or anything in between, or neither and just curious — we have something for everyone. Our films range from gripping dramas, to heartwarming comedies, not to forget world-issue investigations — sometimes all three at once.

Q&A sessions featuring award-winning Haitian filmmaker Gessica Généus, specialists, social actors, and students will give you a chance to delve deeper into the world of these films and the cultures that inspire them.
