Join us for a special celebration of Francophone cultures with family-friendly activities, a literary festival, arts, music, and food…

Save the date and come join us on Saturday April 11, 2026, in Princeton in and near the Public Library, for the second edition of FrancoFest celebrating the diversity of the French-speaking world!

The Francophone Festival will transform Hinds Plaza into a lively and vibrant gathering!

From 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the festival will bring together concerts, food, crafts, and literature in a family-friendly event open to the entire community.

One of the highlights will be a public conversation with internationally acclaimed Franco-Congolese author Alain Mabanckou, joined by other writers participating in a literary festival featuring 15 francophone authors from six regions of the world: France, Canada, Congo, Réunion Island, Tunisia, and Belgium.

Another highlight will be two concerts with Eva Martin and her jazz group, and Blandine Guerrand.
Additional festival highlights include:
– Food vendors featuring international French-speaking cuisines
– Francophone non profit organizations
– Craft stands and “ Pêche à la ligne”
– Book signings and literary discussions with visiting authors
– A children’s and teens’ workshop at the Princeton Public Library from 12:00–1:30 PM
– A wine tasting experience hosted by a nearby Princeton restaurant
– A movie opening night on Princeton University campus On Friday April 10th

The festival aims to showcase the global reach of the French language while creating a welcoming cultural event for families, students, and the broader Princeton community. It is open to everyone regardless of identity.
