This conference brings together scholars working on the history of philosophy of mind in the early modern period (from Descartes to Hume) and philosophers of mind inspired by early modern philosophy, with the aim of creating dialogue which would both bring in fresh ideas for interpreting historical texts and supply valuable context and depth to contemporary debates.
