Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Richard Powers, author of The Overstory, will be joined by environmental biologist Robin Wall Kimmerer, author of the New York Times bestseller Braiding Sweetgrass, and forest activist Timothy Ingalsbee, executive director of Firefighters United for Safety, Ethics and Ecology, for this panel discussion exploring how the work of scientists, artists and activists come together to inspire fundamental shifts in our understanding of how the world works, shaping our minds, the stories we tell, and the way we act. Environmental journalist Meera Subramanian, the 2019-20 PEI Barron Visiting Professor in the Environment and the Humanities, will lead the conversation.
