My Princeton Oral History Project is an initiative to create a space for students who feel left out of the dominant Princeton narrative by capturing and sharing their unique experiences through recorded interviews. The project aims to capture students’ experiences in and outside of Princeton, guided through questions such as why they chose Princeton, what were their expectations for the University, and what has brought them joy or stress during their time here. During the project’s pilot year, the University Archives will host a series of oral history trainings and events with campus partners to educate and empower students to interview one another and preserve their legacy.
