Museumverse engages with emerging virtual reality and digital technologies to facilitate curatorial, research, and pedagogical strategies in art history. Funded by a Flash Grant from the Humanities Council in 2022, Museumverse recently won first place in the humanities division at the Keller Center Innovation Forum.

Please join us for a presentation on the foundations of 3D scanning, digital asset creation, and virtual object management in relation to art historical research. This will be followed by an active demonstration. Participants are invited to bring an object to be 3D scanned, especially if they have one relevant to their research. For best results, the object should be portable and opaque.

Apply to have your object scanned.
