This panel discusses the most recent works by internationally acclaimed Colombian artist María José Arjona. Arjona has developed a career fully focused on performance, addressing issues related to the body, memory, and power. Her practice involves long durational performances characterized by near-monastic rigor, designed as experiential studies in what she considers the most critical element in performance: time. The panel will focus on three timely projects: Into the Blue (2022), The Body as Archive (2024), and Moving with Rocks (2025).
