Moving Under Pressure in an Age of War and Revolution, 1750-1830

This public conference will bring together scholars working on a broad range of involuntary migrations during the transformative period around 1800, in order to better understand the place of this period within the longer history of forced migration. For this purpose it sets out to take a decidedly global perspective.
