Mellon Forum: The Region Transformed

While the pandemic has disrupted global connections, it is at the same time a local experience. Cities across the globe face similar challenges, such as stresses to transit networks and impacts on efforts to combat climate change. Others face particular pressures, including the distinct ways the pandemic has presented challenges to the infrastructure and economy of New Jersey and the broader region.

This session will address the global, regional, and local impacts of the pandemic, and the challenges it presents to cities, suburbs, and rural areas.
