The COVID-19 pandemic has caused great disruption to the production, distribution and consumption of food. Food security has taken on renewed importance for people, communities, and governments across the globe. This panel will address who gets included and left out of the ranks of the food secure, the forces and structural inequalities that stand in the way of food security, and the social and physical infrastructures needed in order to improve it.
Participants will highlight food practices and policy proposals that provide insight into how we might make more stable and inclusive food systems in the future.
