McGraw Center Faculty Workshop: Flipping the Classroom

November 9, 2023 · 12:00 pm1:20 pm · Zoom

McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning

Increasingly, instructors are embracing the flipped classroom as a way to encourage active learning. In a flipped classroom, students engage with course content outside of class (often via short recorded lecture segments) and then complete higher-level, more challenging activities during class, often with their peers.

In this “How to/Why to” session, we will discuss the pedagogy of flipped classrooms, hear from Princeton faculty who have used the approach, and learn about McGraw’s resources to support these active learning strategies.
