McGraw Center Faculty Presentation: The Power of Checking In – Mid-Semester Course Feedback

The purpose of this session is to present faculty with approaches to conducting midterm course evaluations for course improvement and advancement of their teaching. Faculty will be presented with compelling evidence from the literature on the benefits of conducting such activities, as well as multiple approaches and strategies that could be taken, including short survey development. Workshop will cover example approaches, resources available, action based on analysis, and general discussion of utilizing student feedback for the improvement of teaching and support of learning.
