Join us for an unconventional conversation with media theorists John Durham Peters (Yale) and Shannon Mattern (UPenn). Modeled as a cross between new media — an AMA (‘ask me anything’ event online) — and old media (scraps of paper with single words pulled from a jar), scholars will talk through a wide range of issues having to do with media theory, the data of language, and the invisible infrastructures of our everyday interactions.
