A workshop organized by the ECS Graduate Affiliate Working Group on Sigmund Freud’s “The Interpretation of Dreams”.
In this lunch workshop, we will discuss Freud’s articulation of the psychic scene with Paola Mieli. Please read “The Two Principles of Psychic Functioning,” “Negation,” and “Drives and Their Vicissitudes.” All members of the Princeton community are welcome.
Paola Mieli is a practicing psychoanalyst, the author of Figures of Space. Subject, Body, Place(Agincourt Press, New York, 2017), and a founding member and the president of Après-Coup Psychoanalytic Association.
Lunch will be served.
