Derrida’s Futures: Secrets from the Archive

Derrida’s “Futures: Secrets from the Archive” will bring together scholars from various countries and disciplines to mark the twentieth anniversary of Jacques Derrida’s death, the tenth anniversary of Firestone Library’s acquisition of Derrida’s personal library, and the launch of the digital archive of more than 40 years of Derrida’s seminars. Participants will include Gil Anidjar, Jennifer Bajorek, Anne Berger, Axelle Karera, Kir Kuiken, Catherine Malabou, Elissa Marder, Paul Preciado, Thangam Ravindranathan, Erin Graff Zivin, Elisabeth Weber, and Eyal Weizman.
This symposium has received the generous support of the Council of the Humanities, the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies, the Program in Translation, the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program in the Humanities, the Department of English, the Department of French and Italian, the Department of Comparative Literature, the Department of German, the Program in European Cultural Studies, and Firestone Library Special Collections.
