Mary K. Farag is Assistant Professor of Early Christian Studies at Princeton Theological Seminary. Her book, What Makes a Church Sacred? Legal and Ritual Perspectives in Late Antiquity, is scheduled to appear this Fall 2021, published by the University of California Press. In general, her research focuses on the history of Egypt in late antiquity. She has published several articles on topics such as oratory, pseudepigraphy, and social conflict.
