A two-day international conference on Dante’s vital presence in global pop culture. Graphic novels, comic books, rock and pop songs, film and television productions, video and board games, all extend the impact of Dante’s work beyond its institutional life in schools and universities. The conference brings together experts exploring the many media in which Dante’s legacy is alive today.

Matteo Pericoli, Class of 1932 Visiting Fellow in the Humanities Council and the Department of French and Italian, will give the keynote address–Visualizing Dante’s World–on November 11 at 3:00 pm.
