Guided tour of “Ulises Carrión: Bookworks and Beyond” with guest artists Camilo Otero and Eva Parra of Calipso Press

A one-hour guided tour of the latest exhibition in the Milberg Gallery in Firestone Library at Princeton University. Tours meet in the lobby of Firestone Library.

Co-founders of Calipso Press Camilo Otero and Eva Parra will draw upon their experience as publishers, artists, and curators to contextualize Ulises Carrión’s life, work, and impact on the field of artists’ books. This conversational tour will explore how artists theorize and experiment with the materials and technologies of bookmaking, as well as how artists’ publishing fosters community-building and collaboration in a transnational context.
