The Comparative Literature Department’s graduate lecture series, ‘Influence & Interference,’ welcomes Nathan Brown (Concordia University). Professor Brown will discuss the relation between Charles Baudelaire’s “Le Cygne” and Book XXII of the Iliad toward a theory of the temporality of allegory via Kant and Heidegger.
