Religion professor Stout to give Gifford Lectures at the University of Edinburgh

Stout is a professor of religion and former chair of the Committee for Film Studies.

Jeffrey Stout, professor of religion and former chair of the Committee for Film Studies at Princeton, has been selected to give the prestigious Gifford Lectures at the University of Edinburgh next month. The title of the six-lecture series, which will be held from May 1-11, 2017, is “Religion Unbound: Ideals and Powers from Cicero to King.”
