What is religion’s place in the academy today?

In his lucid and penetrating essay Religion in the University,” prominent philosopher of religion Nicholas Wolterstorff draws on authors ranging from Max Weber and John Locke to Ludwig Wittgenstein and Charles Taylor to argue that religious orientations and voices do have a home in modern academic discussion. He also offers a sketch of what that home should look like.
