Labyrinth Live at the Library presents a talk with writers Daphne Kalotay and Suzy Hansen (Journalism).

Labyrinth Books and the Princeton Public Library invite you for a reading and a conversation between an award winning novelist with a new book, Blue Hours, linking Manhattan circa 1991 to eastern Afghanistan in 2012 and the celebrated author of Notes on a Foreign County, which tells the story of an American abroad in the era of American decline.

Blue Hours tells of a life-changing friendship between two memorable heroines. Anchored by an uninvited voyage into an extraordinary place, with a love story at its core, it combines the adventure and moral complexity of Lillian Hellmans Julia and Ann Patchetts State of Wonder to tell a global story at an intimate level. In its ethical provocations, Blue Hours becomes an unconventional page-turner, confronting Americas role in the conflicted, interconnected world.
