Princeton University President Christopher Eisgruber ’83 recently published an excerpt of his welcome and introduction to “The Spirit of Truth-Seeking,” an Oct. 11 conversation upholding truth as the aim of higher education. This discussion between Princeton University Professor Robert George and Harvard University Professor Cornel West *80 launched the Being Human Festival 2019 of the Humanities Council, with a call for artists to portray the exchange. From Dec. 7 through Dec. 14, the commissioned pieces formed a special public exhibition at the Arts Council of Princeton, culminating in a closing reception with Professor George.
