Council Announces 2019-20 Long Term and Short Term Visiting Fellows

Rachel Barney, Professor and Canada Research Chair in Classical Philosophy, University of Toronto, will teach in Fall 2019. Stephen Michael Best, Professor of English, University of California, Berkeley, will teach in Spring 2020. They are among 20 visiting faculty in the Humanities Council in the academic year 2019-20.

In academic year 2019-20, the Humanities Council welcomes eight Long-Term Visiting Fellows and 12 Short-Term Visiting Fellows to Princeton University. The fellows come from academics institutions and from the arts and creative fields around the world. They were nominated by chairs of humanities departments and will also contribute to the activities of interdisciplinary programs under the Council’s umbrella.
