SUMMARY:Reunión sobre Reunión
DESCRIPTION:Reunión sobre Reunión is a collective and intimate conversation surrounding Zelko’s practice and the different editions of Reunión. Reunión is a writing and listening experiment that Dani Zelko has been engaging with many other people since 2015. It results in the creation of books that intervene in current debates and conflicts. Through face-to-face encounters\, oral histories are written by hand\, collectively edited\, printed\, read aloud in public events and distributed in local communities and beyond. Reunión has made more than 10 editions and worked with many indigenous and migrant communities across Latin America and Spain. \nABOUT OUR GUEST SPEAKER \nDani Zelko (Argentina\, 1990)\, his work is made of words and people. Through various procedures\, it generates publications and encounters that detonate political disputes\, listening practices\, and experiments with language. Since 2015 he has carried out a work called Reunion\, which has made co-productions with spaces such as Museo Reina Sofía (Spa)\, Fundación Proa\, Palais de Glace (Arg) and Bikini Wax (Mex). Reunion has published eleven books\, which have been translated into English\, Portuguese\, German\, French\, Italian\, Arabic\, Urdu\, Darija\, and Euskera. He teaches writing and listening workshops in many institutions around the world. His visual work was exhibited in Argentina\, Paraguay\, Mexico and Canada. He has published the books Oreja Madre\, Mother Ear (Caja Negra\, 2025)\, Y Las Fuerzas del Desorden (Neutrinos\, 2023)\, Selección Sudamericana por la muerte & Post-Natural (Juan Malasuerte\, 2014-5); & the experimental series The Complete Questions (Gato Negro Ediciones\, 2016-2022).
