SUMMARY:Potters’ Workflows and Energetics in Ancient Greece
DESCRIPTION:In this lecture\, Professor Hasaki applies energetics as a new framework for understanding the organization of craft production in ancient Greece. By reconstructing timetables for basic types of pottery shapes\, we appreciate more deeply how pottery workshops fine-tuned their workflow to maximize time and skill and to meet consumer demand.
