Opening event: “Real and Remembered: Princetonians Caught between Study and Revolution”
Wed, 9/23 · 2:00 pm—4:00 pm · Mudd Manuscript Library
Princeton University Library
Join us for the public opening of “Real and Remembered: Princetonians Caught between Study and Revolution.”
Even before the American Revolution directly impacted campus life–with Nassau Hall occupied, classes disrupted, and students leaving to fight–Princeton had become a center of revolutionary thought and youthful activism. The Revolution was a key part of institutional identity and school spirit. This exhibition highlights both the real and remembered Revolution at Princeton, 250 years later.
Curated by Library Collections Specialists, April C. Armstrong *14, Ashley Augustyniak, and Rosalba Varallo Recchia.
A pop-up exhibit with additional related items will be on display. Light snacks will be available.
