DESCRIPTION:Join Princeton scholars from the humanities and sciences for an interdisciplinary discussion of the video installation migration (empire) by Doug Aitken\, now screening daily on the north lawn of the Lewis Arts complex. Panelists will speak about the video work from their distinct scholarly perspectives\, underscoring how different forms of knowledge can inform and help shape our perception. \nPanelists:  \n\nShane Campbell-Staton\, Assistant Professor\, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology—Contemporary Evolution and Adaptation\nJeffrey Whetstone\, Professor of Visual Arts in the Lewis Center for the Arts and associated faculty at the High Meadows Environmental Institute\n\n\nBarbara White\, Professor of Music\n\nModerated by Karl Kusserow\, John Wilmerding Curator of American Art and associated faculty at the High Meadows Environmental Institute.
