Zilkha Professor of Jewish Civilization in the Near East; Professor of Near Eastern Studies and History\nHost: Jennifer Loessy\, Manager\, Center for Collaborative History \nBabylon Berlin is a German neo-noir television series. It is created\, written and directed by Tom Tykwer\, Achim von Borries and Hendrik Handloegten\, based on novels by German author Volker Kutscher. The series takes place in Berlin during the Weimar Republic\, starting in 1929.
