Apes on the Edge: Chimpanzee Life on the West African Savanna

Jill Pruetz is a professor of anthropology at Texas State University and director of the Fongoli Savanna Chimpanzee Project in Senegal. For more than two decades, her groundbreaking research on wild savanna chimpanzees has explored how apes adapt to challenging environments and what their behavior can reveal about the evolutionary origins of human behavior.

This event is co-sponsored by Labyrinth Books, the Center on Science and Technology, and the Anthony B. Evnin Lecture Series.
