Administration
The Council Chair and Executive Director lead an administrative team that is responsible for day-to-day operations and activities.
Executive Committee and Chair
The Council’s Executive Committee is comprised of leading scholars from Princeton’s 16 humanities departments. Eric Gregory, Religion, is Chair of the Council.
Directors and Chairs
Directors and Committee Chairs lead the interdisciplinary work of the 30 programs under the aegis of the Humanities Council.
Visiting Faculty
The Council brings many visiting faculty and distinguished practitioners to campus each year to teach in the humanities departments, the interdisciplinary programs, and in Journalism.
Postdoctoral Fellows
The Council is home to postdoctoral fellows across the humanities, including members of the Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts.
Lecturers
The Council appoints Lecturers to teach courses in American Studies, European Cultural Studies, Linguistics, and Humanistic Studies.
Affiliated Faculty
Princeton faculty members may be associated with the Council by serving as research professors or faculty fellows, teaching in our courses, or working on Council research projects.
