On February 20, 2026, more than 150 students from across disciplines presented their work at Princeton Research Day – Undergraduate Edition. This year’s event, focused entirely on undergraduate research, was held in the newly reopened Princeton University Art Museum.
Prizes were awarded in several categories. Mia Mazzeo ’29, a first-year prospective classics major, won the Arts & Humanities Award for her project “How Invasive Species Cause Cultural Transformation.” The award recognizes research that “illustrates the power of the arts and humanities to deepen cultural understanding, inspire action, or provoke thoughtful discussion.”
Students from the Humanities Council’s undergraduate programs – European Cultural Studies, Humanistic Studies, Journalism, and Medieval Studies – were among the presenters.
